Payplans allow you to import users via a CSV file. Before importing, ensure that your CSV file has the appropriate values set. The following values are the mandatory fields needed by Payplans to import users while assigning plans:
Mandatory Fields
username- This would be the user's namefullname- This would be the user's full nameemail- This would be the user's email addresspassword- This would be the user's passwordbusiness_name- This would be the user's company nametin- This would be the user's company tax identification numberbusiness_address- This would be the user's company addressbusiness_city- This would be the user's company citybusiness_state- This would be the user's company statebusiness_zip- This would be the user's company zipbusiness_city- This would be the user's company citybusiness_country- This would be the user's company country
Optional: You can exclude the following mandatory fields if you only want to set the same subscription start date, expiration date, status, and note, then you can set select those import user options before starting the import process.
subscription_status- This would be set the subscription status when the system imports a subscription plan to the usersubscription_date- This would be set as the subscription start date and the subscription start date can't be set less than the subscription expiration datesubscription_exp_date- This would be set as the subscription expiration date and the subscription expiration date can't be set greater than the subscription start datesubscription_notes- This would be set as the subscription note when the system imports a subscription plan to the user
Importing Steps
To import the CSV file, all you need to do is to follow the simple steps below:
Access the import user's screen as you can see from the screenshot below and browse for your CSV file.
Upon selecting the CSV file, you will need to choose a subscription plan, basically a plan that you would like to assign to the list of users.
You can ignore the rest of the setting fields from the import user tool if your CSV file already contain the data for all these columns e.g. subscription_status, subscription_date, subscription_exp_date, and subscription_notes.
If import settings such as subscription start date, expiration date and notes are filled in, the system will respect them and ignore the ones inside the csv file when assigning a plan to the imported users.
