This documentation will guide you into setting up integrations with Twitch.TV.

Setting Up Twitch Integrations

All you need to do is to follow the steps below:

1. Head over to https://dev.twitch.tv/console/apps to create a new App on Twitch.tv

2. Once signed in, you will see the Applications area where it will list down Applications that you have created. Click on the Register Your Application button since we need to create a new app

   

3. On the new app creation registration page, fill in the details accordingly as shown in the screen shot below:

   

   • The Name field can be anything and it should contain a meaningful name

   • The OAuth Redirect URLs should be the same as your website url

   • The Category field could be anything and it is entirely up to you

4. Once you click on the Create button to register the Application, you will be redirected to the listings page again. Click on the Manage button to manage the app.

   

5. On the application page, you will now see the Client ID. You will need to copy the Client ID to the Twitch settings page in EasySocial.

   

6. Then, click on the Create button to generate a new Client Secret.

   

   Once the secret key is generated, copy the secret key into the Twitch settings page in EasySocial.

7. Once you have entered the Client ID and Client Secret, save the settings and you will see the Connect with Twitch button as shown below:

   

8. Click on the Connect with Twitch button and you are good to go.

9. The Thumbnail Dimension Size determines the thumbnail size that should be used to retrieve from Twitch
