It is a straightforward installation for EasySocial and almost identical to installation using the launcher. Follow these quick steps and start building an awesome social network site in minutes.
Download EasySocial Installer
The installer is located on your Dashboard. Once logged in to the site, click on Download Installer > Full Package button to get the installer package.
If this is your first time downloading the installer package, our system will prompt you to register the domain name of your site. This domain name must be a valid domain of yours because support requests to us are based on this domain.
Difference Between Launcher & Full Package
Launcher: Small-sized installer, great for sites with a low upload size limit. The remaining installation files will be downloaded during the installation process.
Full Installer: Full-sized installer where installation is possible without an internet connection.
Installing EasySocial
Once you've acquired the EasySocial installer, you may proceed with the installation. The installation process is fairly simple. It is as easy as uploading the installer package via Joomla Extension Manager and following the designed steps on the installer.
Uploading EasySocial Installer
Before the installation begins, make sure your site meets the Minimum System Requirements.
Navigate to the Joomla Extension Manager by accessing Extensions > Manage > Install.
Click on the Browse button and select the EasySocial installer package. Once the uploading process completes, click on the Proceed With Installation button.
The installation process will kick start automatically. The main EasySocial package will be extracted to your server. Click Next when done.
Post Installation Maintenance. There are times when EasySocial needs to run specific update/maintenance routines to ensure the data integrity of the system. They will be executed during this step. Rest assured it would only take a few seconds until the system script is updated. Click Next when done.
Completed. The installation has been completed. You may start configuring EasySocial settings by clicking on the Launch Backend button or experience EasySocial from the user's point of view by clicking on the Launch Frontend button.
