Notification Rules

In this section you are able to create notification alerts on the site according to:

1. Status Changed
2. Cart Abandoned
3. Pre Expiry
4. Post Expiry
5. Post Activation
6. Trial Pre Expiry
7. Subscription Renewal
8. Subscription Cancellation

To create those notification you can find it by go to the Notifications>notification>click new button

General Details

Subject
The subject that will appear in the e-mail.

E-mail CC List
Additional e-mails via CC by entering additional e-mails in this section. Each e-mail needs to be separated by a comma.

E-mail BCC List
Additional e-mails via BCC by entering additional e-mails in this section. Each e-mail needs to be separated by a comma.

Add an attachment
Include an attachment in the email. The attachments lists can be found in JOOMLA_ROOT_FOLDER/media/com_payplans/emails/attachments folder. If you want to add the attachments file you need to create this folder beforehand and add the file inside the folder in order those file appear in the selection.

Include Invoice in Attachments
Enabling this will include invoice as attachments in the e-mail

Send E-mails as HTML
Determines if e-mails should be sent in HTML format

Content Source
Select the content source to be used for this email rule which is from:

• Custom Content
• Use Existing Template File

Content
Add the custom content using the editor.

Select Template
Select default template to send mails to user.

View Available Variables
View all available variable that can be used in email content.

Status Changed Notification

This rule allows the system to send out notification e-mails when a subscription or invoice status is changed on the system. It is useful when you need to inform the user of specific statuses.

When Status Is
E-mail will be sent when the item has a status matching this option:

• Subscriptions (Active)
• Subscriptions (Inactive)
• Subscription (Expired)
• Invoice (Pending Payment)
• Invoice (Paid)
• Invoice (Refunded)

Cart Abandoned Notification

This rule allows the system to send out cart abandoned e-mailed. It is useful to get the users to visit the site again to continue their checkout process.

• Cart Abandonment Timer
  The cart abandonment email will be sent when the amount of time set here has passed since users abandoned their cart.

Pre Expiry Notification

This rule allows the system to send out pre expiration e-mails. It is useful when you need to inform the users before hand when their subscription is about to expire.

• Pre Expiry Time
  This email will be sent before the subscription expires. Set the time before which this email should be sent.

  Note: Pre Expiry time can not be Lifetime. It should be valid time like in day, month etc.

• Last Recurring Cycle
  Determine pre expiry emails will be sent only on last recurring cycle. Otherwise sent every cylce.

Post Expiry Notification

This rule allows the system to send out post expiration e-mails. It is useful when you need to notify users that their subscription has already expired.

• Post Expiry Time
  This email will be sent after the subscription expires. Set the time after which this email should be sent.

  Note: Post Expiry time can not be Lifetime. It should be valid time like in day, month etc.

Post Activation Notification

This rule allows the system to send out post activation e-mails. It is useful to inform the users that their subscription is activated and they may access the site to view their subscription.

• Post Activation Time
  This email will be sent after the subscription activates. Set the time after which this email should be sent

  Note: Post Activation time can not be Lifetime. It should be valid time like in day, month etc.

Trial Pre Expiry Notification

This rule allows the system to send out trial's pre expiration e-mails. It is useful when you need to inform the users before hand when their trial is about to expire.

• Trial's Pre Expiry Time
  This email will be sent before the subscription's trial expires. Set the time before which this email should be sent.

  Note: Trial Pre Expiry time can not be Lifetime. It should be valid time like in day, month etc.

Subscription Renewal Notification

This rule allows the system to send out subscription renewal e-mails. It is useful when you need to inform the users that their subscription is renewed.

• Send Email on Recurring Renewal
  Determine whether to send subscription renewal emails on each recurring payment.

Subscription Cancellation Notification

This rule allows the system to send out subscription cancellation e-mails. It is useful when you need to inform the users that their subscription is cancelled.
