EasySocial includes the ability to upload GIFs. Users are now able to upload their animated emojis or compose statuses with animated GIFs downloaded from 9GAG. Navigate to EasySocial > Settings > Photos > General and locate Allow Animated Gif Processing option.

Determine whether to allow users to upload animated gifs during photo upload. Please note that you will need a valid API key to enable this feature.
The uploaded animated GIF photos on EasySocial will be automatically sent to the Stackideas server to be processed. Once done, EasySocial will receive it back and store it locally. API Key is needed to use this feature.
Please increase the
max_execution_time of your site to prevent the server time-out error. This process might take some time to compress the GIF image each time it was uploaded.
