2checkout

2Checkout provides a safe and secure hosted checkout process that collects customers' payment information.

Payment Features

Currently, the 2Checkout payment method supports the following payment features:

One-time Payments
Recurring Payments
Trial & Recurring Payments (Does not support free trials)

Setting Up 2CheckOut

If you have not already created an account with 2Checkout, head over to https://www.2checkout.com site and register your account.

Setting up on PayPlans

Obtain the SID Number from 2Checkout. The SID Number is the Merchant Code from your 2Checkout dashboard:
Obtain the Secret Word which can be retrieved from Dashboard > Integrations > Webhooks & API under the Secret Word section from 2Checkout.
If need to, you can change the Activate Subscription On behavior. By default, it is set to On successful order creation
During testing, you may enable the Sandbox Mode to try out with test payments

NOTE
Do not change the Activate Subscription On value if you already have existing subscriptions as it will affect the existing subscription and will not work correctly. Create a new integration if you wish to change it.

Setting up on 2Checkout

On the Dashboard > Integrations > Webhooks & API page, set up the Approved URL field so that the user will be redirected to the desired page after they complete the payment.

NOTE
Replace yoursite.com with your site's domain and if you're using https:// protocol, then set it appropriately.

If you are experiencing a redirection to the 2CheckOut site after successful payment from your site, you'll need to set the Return method setting on the 2CheckOut to Header Redirect.
Configure the Instant Payment Notifications (IPN) by clicking on the icon shown below:

Enter the following URL and replace yoursite.com with your site's domain appropriately and click Apply to apply it to all url fields.

NOTE
Please do not forget to attach & at the end of the notify URL.

Frequently Asked Questions

Subscription is not set to active status but user's payments are being detected from 2checkout
If you are using cloud-flare or any other CDN service on your site, then disable it and check again.

2Checkout not sending payment notifications for recurring plans in SandBox mode, why?
The problem with 2checkout testing is that it doesn't send notifications for recurring payments. Otherwise, it works fine with Fixed payments. If you have only fixed plans then you can test it's working.
