Customization
Template override is a standard feature that comes with Joomla. It is sole purpose to allow users to customize their layout without modifying core files and structures of any components or modules that you've installed on your site.
EasyBlog themes files are by default inherited from the default theme (Wireframe). Which means, if you're using the Elegant theme, some files that are not styles in Elegant will be inherited from Wireframe theme.

Please make sure that you have backup all your customization and it must be up-to-date with the latest EasyBlog before updating to the latest version.

Template Overriding
Creating custom template overrides is relatively easy and very straight forward. Navigate to EasyBlog > Themes options at EasyBlog backend. You should see the following list of themes you're currently having.
Make sure you're editing the correct theme for the template override. The default theme is indicated by the icon as shown in the above screenshot.
Creating Custom Template Overrides
To start creating template override, click on Edit Files button. After clicking it, you'll be redirected to Template Editor section. You may choose your desired files to be edited from the list available here.
A File Editor will be rendered on the right after you have selected the file. Now, you may start applying your customization here.
File Information section on the left is displaying the necessary information about the edited file.
Once you have completed applying your customization, click on Save button to store and create your template override file. After a successful saving, a notice will be appeared under File Information section mentioning of the modified files.
Reverting Customization
Reverting the customization also quite easy. Locate the modified file, and click on Revert Changes button. Make sure you're reverting the correct modified file as this process is irreversible. Please be careful.
