Plan Creation

Plans are essentially the heart of PayPlans. This is where you create plans and sell these plans on your site. There are currently 5 different type of plan tenure that you can create on your site:

Forever - Does not have a time limit.

Fixed - Can be configured to have a time limit or a fixed date range.

Recurring - Requires user to make payment repeatedly based on the configured recurrence count in PayPlans.

Recurring + 1 Trial - Same as recurring plans but it allows a 1 time trial period for the user.

Recurring + 2 Trials - Same as a recurring plans but it allows 2 time trials period for the user.

Creating Plans

To create plans in PayPlans, follow these simple steps:

1. Head to Plans section at the back-end of PayPlans.

2. Click on the New button which appears on the toolbar at upper left corner.

3. You will then be presented a form that looks similar to the screen below:

   

4. You may also configure the Advanced Settings of the plan by clicking on the Advance tab.

   Advance Parameters

   Total Subscription Limit - Configure the number of subscriptions allowed for a plan. When it reaches this limit, this plan will no longer appear or can be sold on the site.

   Schedule Plan Availability - Plan can only be available on specific time. Useful when you are doing Christmas or any Holiday plans. By enabling this, you will also need to set the Start Date and End Date.

   Start Date and End Date - Set the period of time this plan will be available. Schedule Plan Availability needs to be enabled.

   Moderate Purchases - If you wish to moderate purchases before allowing the purchase to go through, you can enable this option. It is suitable for free plans where you want to avoid users abusing the free plan.

   Plan Relationship Parameters

   Plan Depends On - This option determines if the user MUST subscribe to another plan first before they are able to view this plan.

   Make Available When User Is Subscribed To - You also can configure the criterias as shown below:

   • Any of the above - Displays plan when any of the above plan is subscribed.

   • All of the above - Displays plan when all of the above plans are subscribed.

   • None of the above - Displays plan when none of the above plan is subscribed.

   Appearence

   On the Appearence section, you can also configure the layout for your plans.

   

   Highlight Plan - By enabling this option, the plan will be highlighted and will stand out. Here is an example of how it looks like when it is highlighted:

   Apply Badge - By enabling this option, a badge will be placed on the plan.

   Badge Position - This option determines the position of the badge.

   Badge Title - This would the the title of the badge

   Badge Background Color and Badge Text Color - This allows you to set the badge colors

   Badges Positions (Vertical view for Left, Right and Center positions)

   Permission

   On the Permission section, you can configure which user group are able to use or view the plans.
