Payflow

Payplans Payflow payments method only supports fixed, recurring and recurring + 1 trial payment type.

Payflow Pro is PayPal's secure and open payment gateway. It allows you to securely connect your customers to PayPal's secure server. It is a fully customizable gateway, everything from language and layout to PCI compliance. Payflow Payment Gateway handles all major credit and debit cards.

Setting Up Payflow

The following guides explains PayPal Payflow integration as payment gateway.

NOTE:
The recurring period must be in the following order: weekly, every 2 weeks, twice every week, every 4 weeks, monthly, quarterly, twice every year or yearly. If you've choosen expiration time other than mentioned above, then it will be rounded off to the nearest supported value.
You'll need to manually make the refund transaction for a fixed plan subscriber and marked the invoice refunded in PayPlans backend.
IMPORTANT: It is recommended to select at least 2 days of *Grace period* for recurring plan because the payment will only be received a day after the plan was subscribed.

Payflow Configuration

The General options for Payflow are fairly the same among all payment methods. You'll need to give a suitable title, determine whether to be published or unpublished and the appropriate description for this payment method. You may set this payment method to be applied on all plans or only on selected plans.

  • Partner ID : Partner ID was provided to you by the authorized PayPal reseller.

  • Username : ID that you specified when you received your Payflow account. Usually, it is the same as VENDOR. Or the ID of the authorized user to process the transactions if you have additional users on the account.

  • Password : The password that you defined when registering for the account.

  • Vendor : ID that you specified when you received your Payflow account. It is the merchant login ID for the account.

  • Allow Recurring Billing Cancellation : This option allows users to cancel their recurring billing on the front end when they are viewing their purchases.

  • Enable SandBox Mode : Sandbox is a testing environment simulates a behavior of a payment method. This option is used in development phase. Always set to No when in the production.

Payflow


In case of Payflow, recurring payment process on cron job execution and update the subscription accordingly.
In Payflow there is no ipn required as payment process on cron job itself.
