Installation Via Full Installer
This is an advanced installation setup guide, composed to help advanced user or developer installing EasyArticles on their site. Follow the steps provided and continue reading through our documentation to learn more about EasyArticles.
Download EasyArticles Installer
The installer can be found on our site, which is on your Dashboard. Once logged into your account, you should be able to see the list of subscriptions that you're currently subscribing to. Choose EasyArticles and click on download Full Package button to get the installer package.
If this is your first time downloading the installer package, our system will prompt you to register the domain name of your site. This domain must be a valid domain of yours because it will be used when requesting support from us.
Installing EasyArticles
Once you have acquire EasyArticles installer package, you may proceed with the installation. The installation process is fairly simple. Upload the installer package via Joomla Extension Manager and follow the designed steps on the installer.
Uploading EasyArticles Installer
Firstly, navigate to the Joomla Extension Manager by accessing Extensions > Manage > Install.
Click on the Browse button to locate and select the EasyArticles installer package. Once ready, click on Upload & Install button to continue the installation process.
After the uploading process is completed, a screen that looks similar as this will be displayed. Continue the installation by clicking on Proceed With Installation button.
System Requirements Validation
On the first screen of your installation process, a list of pre-requisites of EasyArticles will be displayed. The site must met the Minimum System Requirements before continuing the installation process.
Select License
On this step, EasyArticles installer will check for licenses that you have with us.
Installation Process
When the installation process started, you'll see a screen that looks similar to below. This process my take a while depeneding on the internet connectivity of your server.
If everything goes well, the installation should not display any error. Should there is any error displayed, please refer to the installation issues documentation for more information.
Post Installation Maintenance
There are times when EasyArticles needs to run specific update/maintenance routines to ensure data integrity of the system. They will be executed during this step. Rest assure it would only take a few seconds.
Completed
The installation process is now completed. You may now start configuring EasyArticles settings by click on Proceed To Backend button or directly use EasyArticles by clicking on Launch Frontend button.
