PayPal Payments Pro allows you to accept payments with a completely customizable solution.
This integration method leverages the PayPal Payflow Gateway to transmit payments to your PayPal Internet Merchant Account. It also gives you the flexibility and payment processing security to build a professional-grade ecommerce site.

Setting Up PayPal Payment Pro
PayPal requires user to register an account with them. Go to https://www.paypal.com/ to sign up or login with your existing account.
APIs
Navigate to account settings clicking on the settings icon on top right. Then, navigate to Selling tools tab section and locate API access. Click on the Update link to view the APIs.
Next, choose NVP/SOAP API integration (Classic) and click on Manage API credentials.
Copy the following APIs and paste it at the PayPlans integration page.
Notifications
Set the IPN notification URL as the following in your PayPal Payment Pro account.

PayPal Payment Pro Configuration
The General options for PayPal Payment Pro is fairly the same among all payment methods. You'll need to give a suitable title, determine the published state and the appropriate description for this payment method. You may apply this payment method on all plans or only on selected plans.
The following screenshot illustrate the options available in PayPal Payment Pro.
Merchant Email : Please enter the merchant e-mail address used to sign up with PayPal.
API Username : Your API username, which is auto-generated by PayPal when you apply for certificate or signature API credentials to use the PayPal SOAP API.
API Password : Your API password, which you specify when you apply for certificate or signature API credentials to use the PayPal SOAP API.
API Signature : Your API signature, if you use one instead of an API Certificate.
Test Mode : Sandbox is a testing environment simulates a behavior of a payment method. This option is used in development phase. Always set to No when in the production.
Cancel Recurring Order : This option allows users to cancel their recurring order on the front end when they are viewing their purchases.
When everything is in order, click on the Save button to store the configuration.
