In this section, you'll be introduced to the Facebook configuration settings. Navigate to EasySocial > Settings > Social > Facebook.
Facebook Configuration
- Allow Registrations
If enabled, visitors are allowed to sign up on the site using their own Facebook account. This feature would increase user signups on the site. - OAuth Redirect URIs
Copy these OAuth redirect URI and set them into your Facebook app Valid OAuth redirect URIs field. - Scopes Permission
These user permissions can be allowed to access those data from a Facebook user account during authentication, but ensure that you have to get these permission approvals from the Facebook reviewer before you choose. - Automatically Login
When this option is enabled, users that are logged into Facebook will automatically login to the site - Automatically Link & Create an Account
When this option is enabled, EasySocial will not prompt users to create an account or link their account. It will bypass the standard account creation process when signing in with Facebook - App ID
To obtain the API key, you will first need to create your application at https://developers.facebook.com - App Secret
To obtain the App Secret, you will first need to create your application at https://developers.facebook.com - Insert Opengraph Tags
If this option is enabled, EasySocial will add the necessary open graph tags on pages that have these tags. - Registration Type
You can configure how the registrations should behave if the user signs up with their Facebook account. - Default Profile
Select the profile type that should be used by default when a user signs up on the site with their Facebook account. - Username
Specify which data from Facebook to use as a username on the site. - Import Profile Picture
If this option is enabled, the user's profile picture will be imported to the site.
Please do remember to enable Authentication - EasySocial to allow OAuth users to login to the site.
