MarsEdit is a remote publishing app for Mac. This tutorial is applicable if you are using MarsEdit for Mac. You may learn more about MarsEdit here.
Step 1
To start authoring with MarsEdit, you will need to launch MarsEdit. When the app is loaded, click on the plus symbol "+" as shown in the screen shot below:
Open MarsEdit App and you will see MarsEdit Quick Start window. Choose "I already have a blog" option and click "Continue".
Step 2
Now, fill in the name of your blog (It could be anything at all). In the URL section, you need to enter the URL to your EasyBlog page. It's best that you copy the URL from the address bar and paste them here.
Once you are done, click on the Finish button.
Step 3
You will then be directed to a screen that requires you to enter your username and password. You need to enter your site's username and password. It could be any user account provided that the user is given the rights to write and publish blog post.
Step 4
When you are done, MarsEdit will try to retrieve all blog posts, categories and tags from EasyBlog.
