A worthy stories might contains more than one image and any of it can be used as a post cover. Each post cover can act as a primary identifier and it can be an accessories for your blogpost. Post cover is being used throughout EasyBlog and modules.
Post Cover Settings
EasyBlog allows you to configure and manipulate the post cover sizes and you may also apply cropping effect on the cover images. This post cover settings are accessible at Backend > EasyBlog > Settings > Layout > Post Covers. Post cover settings are divided into 3 sections named as Listing Layout, Entry Layout and Showcase Layout.
If the cropping option is disabled, you will not be able to set the height of the post cover as by doing so, it will caused the image to be distorted.
If the width option is set not using full width, you will be able to set the width of the post cover. However, it is advisable to always use full width for post cover.
Listings Layout
Picture Size
This option determines the physical size of the image to use. The larger the dimensions, the larger the file size is. You need to choose the source carefully. Having all images loaded on original size would mean that there is an additional overhead for rendering the image if the image is only displayed in a smaller dimension.Picture Size (Mobile Device)
This option determines which picture size is used when rendered on mobile devices. Ideally, a smaller size should be used to speed up the rendering of the pagesCover Aspect Ratio
Determines the aspect ratio of blocks where covers are displayed within them.
Please note: Only support for the card and simple layout only.Crop Post Cover
This option determines whether EasyBlog should crop the post cover using CSS. By cropping the post cover image, will ensure that you may set a fixed height for every post cover image without distorting it.Width
This option determines the width of the image that should be displayed on the site. To have a fluid layout, ensure that the option Use Full Width is checked.Height
This option determines the height of the image that should be displayed on the site.Alignment
Set the alignment of the photo cover. This option will be shown if the Width option does not use full width.First Image As Post Cover
This option allows EasyBlog to pick the first image from the content as a post cover given that there is no post cover added. However, if a readmore tag is added to the content, this setting will be ignored.
