Authorize Cim

Authorize Customer Information Manager (CIM)

Authorize Customer Information Manager (CIM) allows you to store customers' sensitive payment information on their secured servers. It simplifies the complience of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and handles all payment process returns.

Authorize.Net is a solution of CyberSource Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Visa.

Payment Features

Currently Authorize CIM payment method supports the following payment features:

  • One-time Payments

  • Recurring Payments

  • Recurring + Trial Payments

  • Recurring subscriptions cancellation supported from the site itself.

The General options for Authorize CIM are fairly the same among all payment methods. You'll need to give a suitable title, determine whether to be published or unpublished and the appropriate description for this payment method. You may set this payment method to be applied to all plans or only on selected plans.

The Parameters section are the specific options needed when configuring Authorize CIM integration. Details of each options are described below.

Authorize CIM

  • API Login ID : In this section, you will need to provide the API login ID that you have obtained from Authorize.Net.

  • Transaction Key : In this section you will need to enter the transaction key that you have obtained from Authorize.Net.

  • Connection Error Failure Attempts : Connection error failures occur when the connection between client and server are not setup properly. It is recommended that its value should be greater than 3.

  • Authorization Related Faliure Attempts : Authorization Failure occurs when user enter the fake credit card details or the credit card details.

  • Display Company Name : This option determines if the company name should be displayed in the form.

  • Allow Recurring Billing Cancellation : This option allows users to cancel their recurring billing on the front end when they are viewing their purchases.

  • Enable Sandbox Mode : This option determines if the payment gateway should be processed in sandbox mode. Sandbox is a testing environment simulates a behavior of a payment method.

When everything are in order, click on Save button to store the configuration.
