EasySocial allows you to create custom template overrides in your Joomla template. This is ideal when you need to customize theme files but do not want future updates to remove your changes.
Creating Custom Template Overrides
Navigate to EasySocial > Themes options at EasySocial backend. You should see the following list of themes you're currently having.
The default theme is indicated by the icon as shown in the screenshot above.
All EasySocial themes are based on the main theme, Wireframe, which is where you can find and customize most theme files.Click on the Edit Files button. You'll be redirected to the Template Editor section. You may choose your desired files to be edited from the list available here.
A File Editor will be rendered on the right side after you have selected the file. Now, you may start applying your customization.
The File Information section on the left displays the necessary information about the file that is being edited.
Once you have completed your customization, click on the Save button to create and store your template override file. After saving successfully, a notice will appear under the File Information section to mention that the file is modified.
Check the front end to see if your customization is working properly.
Reverting Customization
Please double check and make sure you're reverting the correct modified file as this process is irreversible. Locate the modified file, and click on the Revert Changes button.
