Twitter Application
This Twitter Application allows site administrator to integrate EasySocial with Twitter. It also allows users to autopost/share their stories to Facebook.
Note: You'll need to configure Twitter Apps on your site. Further information and guide can be found at Twitter Configuration documentation.
Twitter Autoposting
This is a new feature developed in EasySocial to directly autopost/share stories to Twitter whenever users post a new status update from story form in EasySocial. The following screenshot shows the Twitter autpost icon on the story form.
Note: In order for users to use this feature, they must first associate their login account with Twitter. After they have authenticated their login account with Twitter, only then this Twitter autopost icon is displayed on the story form.
Twitter Autoposting Options
This Twitter autopost can be set under this Twitter App which can be accessed through EasySocial > Applications > Applications > Twitter.
Under the Autoposting tab, you may find this option Allow Auto Posting Story Form and set it to Yes. Click on Save button to store the new settings.
Twitter Widget
EasySocial also introduced new and interesting feature which is Twitter Widget. This feature allows EasySocial to crawl your Twitter using API and retrieve the latest or recent tweets from your Twitter. The following screenshot shows how the Twitter widget is displayed on your site.
Twitter Widget Options
This Twitter widget options can be set on Profile tab. You may find this option Display Recent Tweets and set it to Yes and specify the height of the widget. Click on Save button to store the new settings.
