Yourls

YoURLs is an URL shortener PHP script that can be installed on your hosting which allows you to generate a shortened url once you provide the absolute url to the API.

EasyBlog supports this integration when you enable the built-in social integration buttons. To set this up, all you need to do is to follow the simple steps below:

1. Proceed to Settings > Social Integrations and enable the option Shorten Urls with YOURls.

   

2. Enter the url to your YoURLs setup.

   

3. In order for EasyBlog to be able to authenticate with Yourls, it needs a secret token. You can find the secret token by clicking on the Tools link in Yourls.

   

4. Once you have the token, paste the token in the settings as shown below:

   

Once this is done, EasyBlog will automatically shorten the URL of the post and use the shortened urls as the link when using the social buttons.
