#44 Installation der neuesten Version EasySocial 1.4.2 hängt

Hi Pascal,
 
unfortunately, the installation routine of the latest EasySocial version 1.4.2 gets stuck.
 
We have two scenarios, as we attempted to install the component on two different sites:
 
joomla6.freiburg.biz
The installation hangs at “Installing Joomla Plugins & Modules”.
We eventually aborted the process because it did not continue.
Access to EasySocial is no longer possible in the backend, and when trying again it now stops at the first step: “Extracting Files.”
 
joomla6.kulturforum-freiburg.info
The installation hangs at “Initializing Stackideas Toolbar.”
Again, we aborted the process because it did not continue.
Access to EasySocial is no longer possible in the backend, and it now also stops at the first step: “Extracting Files.”
 
So we are currently stuck in a deadlock situation.
 
The installation of EasyBlog 1.3.1 completed successfully on both sites without any issues.

Thank you very much for your feedback.
We tested the installation process thoroughly yesterday and it worked on our test-hosts.

I reverted the changes in the installer routine for Version 1.4.2 and recompiled the component under the same version number. 

We tested the installation process on Joomla 5.3.4, 5.4.1 and 6.0.1 and it always finished successfully.

Please re-download version 1.4.2 from your user-dashboard and run the installation process again.

It should complete successfully.

Dear Pascal,
I was finally able to install EasySocial version 1.4.2 on both sites without any issues.
Therefore the issue is fixed and all is fine.
Do you think it had a side effect that we had debug mode active ?
Anyway, the issue is solved and we can close the ticket.
