Hi there,

When you set a menu type to (Posts) Frontpage on the Filter by Categories . should list the EasyBlog categories to select or you must remember and type each one !? ... on my site I must remember each category and type it ... on easyblog version from stackideas this forms are lists of items posts or categories and you can select evem multiple selections ... I think this feature should be also on your refined easyblog regarding forms that ask you to select posts or categories ... please investigate and advice ...

You are right, I will optimize the module to load the categories dynamically so one can chose them instead of having to remember or look them up.

Thank you for your good tip, I will implement this asap.

the modules and the component where is a selection of categories ... right now is not posible to set a selective category articles for homepage blog because couldn't be posible to filter categories posts on EB fronpage ( posts ) ... the issue apear only if the EB component are installed into a clean joomla noy as an upgrade to existing SI EB ...

I saw now what was happening. There was a backwards compatibility issue, which avoided the fancy-select field (multicategory-select) in Joomla from being loaded correctly.

I added class-mapping for compatibility and installed the fix on your site.

It works now, categories, authors etc. are now loading in the Joomla multiselect field as they should.

I'm sorry, I did not realize at the first moment what your exact problem was.

it is a browser thing, that I cant still view categories as drop list on www.avocati.online ? ... I don't know what I'm doing wrong... , I'm not eble to see in backend at frontpage EB menues or its modules, the drop-dawn list for selection ...

P.S. ... I think ( based on the screenshot postet by you ) you tested in www.yaw.news ( the problem was present in the www.avocati.online ) ...

Yes, I applied the fix for yaw.news.

I reinstalled the latest EasyBlog build 7.0.1 on your other site, too.

And the regular selection is present and working 🥳
